# Delete your Swastha account

Delete your swastha account

## How to ask

You don't need to sign in to the app to ask.

1. Email us at [**info@starbaseinnovations.in**](mailto:info@starbaseinnovations.in) with the subject "Delete my Swastha account".
2. Include your name, the phone number you sign in with and the name of your organisation.
3. We confirm the request with you, by calling or messaging that phone number, so nobody else can delete your account.

You can also ask your organisation's Swastha administrator. They can switch off your account straight away and pass your request to us.

We reply within 7 days and finish deleting within 30 days of confirming your request.

## What we delete

- Your account details: name, phone number, email address, city, district and state, role, language and password.
- Your sign-in sessions, so the app signs you out on every phone.
- Your notification ID, so you stop receiving notifications.
- The link between you and the trips, locations and photos you recorded.

## What we keep, and for how long

- **Trip records.** Your organisation needs them as a record of waste collected and delivered: times, places, quantities and photos. They stay with your organisation without your name or phone number, and are deleted 2 years after the date of each trip.
- **Records the law requires us to keep.** We keep these only for as long as the law requires.

## Deleting some of your data

You can ask us to delete particular data, such as a photo, without closing your account. Write to us at the same address and tell us what you want removed. If your organisation needs a record for its work, we will tell you, and we won't delete it before its 2 years are over.
