Swastha

The software Starbase Innovations builds for waste operators. Today it plans trips, tracks vehicles on GPS and keeps photo proof and weights for each load. Connecting households, scrap dealers, aggregators and recyclers to the same record comes next.

How it works

What runs today, and what comes next

Waste-management companies, fleets and facilities use Swastha today. The other parts of the chain are on our roadmap, and their badges say so.

Swastha — software for waste collection and transport

  1. Roadmap

    Households and institutions

Request a pickup, see the price, see where the material went

  2. Roadmap

Scrap dealers and Haritha Karma Sena

Get nearby pickup offers, weigh, pay and sell to the best-priced aggregator

  3. Live

    Collection agencies and fleets

Plan trips, track vehicles on GPS and keep photo proof of every stop

  4. Live

    Aggregators and MRFs

Receive loads matched to trips and see what came in from whom

  5. Roadmap

    Recyclers

Publish buying prices and see where each lot came from

Panchayat collection points and other institutions can sell straight to an aggregator, skipping the dealer.

  • Settlement and invoicing

Commission, GST and TDS per party, invoices, receipts and payouts.

A three-minute walk through a waste trip on Swastha: a collection agency plans the trip, the crew collects with photo proof, the vehicle is tracked on GPS and the load is received at the facility.

Questions about Swastha

Who owns Swastha?

Swastha is built and run by Starbase Innovations (Team Starbase Private Limited), a Calicut company founded in 2021.

Which parts are live today?

Trip planning, GPS tracking, photo proof, outsourced fleet jobs, shared collection points and operational reports are live, used by waste-management companies and fleets in Kerala and in Pune, Maharashtra. Connecting households, scrap dealers, aggregators and recyclers is on the roadmap.

Does it work with our existing GPS devices?

Swastha reads vehicle locations from Mtrack, Airotrack, APM Kingstrack, Roadcast, Wheelseye, Transight and Ashok Leyland iAlert. Ask us about other providers.

Do drivers need to install an app?

The driver and supervisor app runs on Android and in the browser, in seven Indian languages.

How is money handled between parties?

Swastha records trip rates, collection amounts and how each was paid. The money itself moves outside Swastha, by cash, UPI or bank transfer. Settlement and invoicing are on the roadmap.

Where is the data stored?

On servers in India, in the AWS Mumbai region.
